Some are available in the store right now or when sold out you can order some for your autumn knitting in the web store.
Is it too early to think about rich fall colors? It is still summer really. But, I know it’s not too early for me! I’ve been working really hard to make special colorways for all the fall fiber festivals. I was going to keep it under wraps until the shows, but that didn’t seem good enough. I thought that I should make these great colorways available to you too, whether you are going to one of those shows or not, because maybe you don’t live near any one of them or have vacation time this year.
The Autumn collection above is available in our Corrie Sock base and also in the Zephyrette base. It features deep rich fall colors. These are colorways that will add interest to any garment, whether you want to make socks, put these into a beautiful shawl or if you just need to add some to your collection. You can find the Corrie Sock collection here and the zephyrette collection here. Here how will it work? You can order up to Sept 15th. I will dye these specially for you and send them out no later than Sept 26th. Jump to the web store and get some of these for your collection.
Here’s the next installment of fall colorways. These are inspired by cardinals in snow. These yarns along with other nature and autumn inspired yarns will be available at the fall fiber festivals: Shenandoah Valley Fiber Fest, Fall Fiber Festival at Montpelier and Rhinebeck. Come and grab a skein or two for lovely socks, shawls, hats and mitts!
What are you planning to knit for the fall? Socks? A shawl? A sweater? These yarns are fingering weight yarn that is perfect for all of those garments. And the colors are just so autumnal. These yarns will be available at the following fall shows: Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival, Montpelier Fall Fiber Festival and Rhinebeck Fiber Festival. Want to know when these will be added to our online shop? Click here to get our email blasts that will alert you to shop updates.
I’m working on my Autumn yarn collection that will make their debut at the three fiber festivals in September and October. I have a booth at Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival, Fall Fiber Festival at James Madison’s Montpelier and Rhinebeck Fiber Festival. I’m still deciding which yarn will be the featured yarn at which festival. As you can see these are fingering weight yarns. They make excellent socks but I also love this yarn for making shawls. Click here if you would like to join my mailing list so that I can let you know about new colorways, patterns and which of these yarns will be available a specific show.
This week I’ve been busy making new colorways for the fall shows. I’ve also been filling in some of your old favorites. These will be available at the fall shows: Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival, Fall Fiber Festival of Virginia and at Rhinebeck. You’re not local to those shows? Send me a message and we can sneak one or two out to you.
In the meantime, visit our web store to see what is on our shelves.
