Maryland Shawl Kit

This is a super easy knit!

The shawl is an asymmetrical triangle, mostly done in garter stitch, so it’s perfect for beginner knitters. It’s made with 8 mini skeins of fingering weight yarn, and you’ll need a US size 4 circular needle that’s at least 40″ long. The beauty of this shawl really comes from the mini skeins.

One thing I love about these mini skeins is that they’re 90-100 yards each. This kept me motivated to keep knitting because I was excited to see what the next color would look like.

The kit includes the pattern and 8 mini skeins. You get to decide the order in which to use them. I recommend playing around with the skeins until you find an arrangement you love, then take a photo so you remember the order.
