Spring of 2021 is full of hope. It is just starting to burst out here in the east. This collection was inspired by a couple of photographs that just make me happy. A bike with a basket of flowers. A watercolor of farm boots with tulips bursting out of them.
This collection is on our Corrie Sock base. It is a fingering weight Correidale wool (75%) with nylon (25%) yarn. Each skein is 4 ounces and 430 yards. This yarn is great for socks or shawls. It has the strength for socks but yet the drapability for a great shawl too. You can use a variety of needle sizes depending on the project. I like to use US size 1 for socks and US size 4 for shawls and scarves.
