  • This farm yarn is a collaboration between myself and a fellow shepherd with Perendale sheep. This wool is what we would call a medium wool. It is strong, with crimp and a medium staple length. Socks made with this yarn will be very durable.

  • This is a farm yarn made in collaboration with many of my shepherd friends who had smaller bits of wool to process. By pooling these together we were able to get a yarn made. It is very lustrous. This yarn would make a great lacy shawl as well as other garments where you want to have a thinner fabric.

Because it is mill spun, you can knit intricate patterns with nice stitch definition or you can let the beautiful colors do all the work as you knit simple stitches.
